Hares: He’s My Brother and RUFI

Laid by: Not my Lover and RUFI

Runners: 6

Walkers: 4

The start to the Hashing season kicked off this month with a short and sweet Hash laid by Rufi (a little tipsy after drinking with old university colleagues) and “Not my Lover” who, having just returned from the jungle, stepped into the breach after “He’s my Brother”, the appointed hare, had buggered off with some lame excuse about a work related trip.

The hare was in trouble anyway, having only recced the Hash site while viewing a “piso” to buy in the area, while his co-hare “Rufi” arrived late & left early to continue her drinking before the start of the run.  Just as well the 3rd musketeer was there to be laid, whoops I mean to lay the Hash.

Other long standing Hashers “Doggy” and “Sprout”, unable to retain information like time, date or follow directions, made it for the last of the “down downs” which were well received after being lost in Ikea beforehand.

The turnout wasn’t as low as the June Hash in Olot though we could do with local support.  We had to rely on Hash junky Pam from Canada who is on an around the world trip Hashing as part of her training to help swell the numbers.

“Sheepish” provided the backbone of the group bringing along underage girls for “Not my Lover” to chat up in his usual style.

Due to some movement among our runners, some changes are taking place within the mismanagement committee.  These were agreed over a bottle of wine, in keeping with the mismanagement style….you may find your name appearing on the list!

Congratulations to our Hash Master, Durexcell and Veronique on their engagement: breathtaking views must have brought out the romantic side in him whilst in the Grand Canyon this summer and they will be moving to France soon.

On on Sheepish
