Welcome to the site of the Barcelona Hash House Harriers, a small group belonging to the world’s most eccentric club often described as ‘the drinking club with a running problem’.
If you can run, jog or walk, then join us on the last weekend of the month, not forgetting your sense of humour, for some exercise & a subsequent well deserved beer or two. We welcome runners & walkers of all ages & abilities.
We run just once a month on Sunday morning starting at 11:00 am. The trails, in & around Barcelona, normally last around 1 ½ hours with a shorter route for walkers though we do venture further afield too & organise weekends away.
All the info you need is on this page with a link to a Google map & directions to the start of the hash but feel free to browse through the other pages for information about hashing & write ups of past hashes & photos.
As we are a small group we don’t tend to meet outside of the monthly hash dates but if you want to check who might be around, see the possibility of a lift to the next trail etc., leave a message on the hash Facebook page.
So, if you have never hashed before or are just visiting, just show up at the given place & time, bring 3 euros & join the Barcelona hash to experience the ‘drinking club with the running problem’ first hand. You’ll get some exercise, enjoy a few beers & at the same time, practise your English, Spanish, German or French! We may look like a motley bunch but are not as bad as all that 🙂
